As a public health graduate student, you will complete a 3 credit, 360 hour practicum.
Because the practicum complements classroom instruction, specific learning objectives are formulated for your field work.
We have designed our practicum program to:
- provide a challenging and innovative learning experience
- prepare you to assume responsibilities as a public health professional exhibiting ethical and professional behavior
- ensure skilled supervision by experienced practicum instructors who are affiliated with Brown School
The Brown School's Office of Field Education will work with you to select a placement that best meets your educational goals.
