The Kahn Family Scholarship Challenge

Gene and Connie Kahn have generously established a five-year, $250,000 challenge grant to encourage increased scholarship support at the Brown School.  The Kahn Family Challenge benefits students in both the Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health programs.

The Kahn Family Scholarship Challenge will match all new and increased annual scholarship gifts and multi-year commitments to the Brown School designated for scholarship support, up to $50,000 per year for five years.  Gifts and pledges designated to scholarship will qualify for a generous two-to-one match.

The E. Desmond Lee Scholars in Social Work Challenge

We are delighted to celebrate the fifth and final year of a $100,000 challenge issued from a most generous supporter of the University and the Brown School, the late Mr. E. Desmond Lee. By participating in the challenge, your scholarship gift will double in value.

Over the course of five years, every gift made to support scholarships for social work students will be matched dollar for dollar for up to $20,000 each fiscal year, 2008-2012.

Please consider supporting our Scholars in Social Work program. To indicate your participation in this program, make your gift to the George Warren Brown School of Social Work’s Annual Fund and designate the contribution to support scholarships.

Additional Methods

There are many ways to make a contribution to the University or to the Brown School. Large or small, any gift can make an impact.
