Jenine Harris joined the Brown School team in July 2010. She serves as an assistant professor and assistant director of research in the Center for Tobacco Policy. Some of her research includes the differences in smokers and nonsmokers' assessments of an educational campaign about tobacco use.
Prior to her faculty appointment she worked as an assistant professor in the Biostatistics Division of the Department of Community Health at Saint Louis University School of Public Health. It was also at the Saint Louis University where she received her PhD in Public Health Studies with a Biostatistics Concentration.
She is a member of the American Public Health Association, Statistics Section and the International Network for Social Network Analysis.
