Dr. Vosler combines interests in family theory and direct practice with families with a focus on social welfare and family policies. She is particularly interested in issues like parental employment and unemployment, family supports and resources, and poverty and working-poor families. In addition, her work on the intersection of spirituality and social work made her a clear choice to lead one the School’s newest dual degree program, which combines a Master of Social Work and a Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary. Dr. Vosler’s research interests enrich her teaching classes on family evolution, social welfare and spirituality and social work. She serves on the advisory board of Fathers' Support Center: St. Louis, an agency addressing the need of non-custodial fathers.
