Social welfare policies for poor women and children

Socioeconomic Equality

Bio:

Dr. Nam's research interests are broadly defined in terms of social and economic equality, poverty, welfare policy, domestic violence, child welfare, and asset-building policy for the poor. She is particularly interested in the effect of welfare reform on poor children and women.  Dr. Nam is also a faculty associate with the School’s Center for Social Development.  She teaches master’s level courses in research methods and social welfare policy.
