At Brown we stress involvement. Our social work students are active in many student groups, community service and research projects, and social functions. Our students attend brown-bag lunch discussions with faculty, lectures sponsored by our research centers, and forums on issues as diverse as confronting racism and family violence to environmental health. Our strong sense of community impacts our students' experience in school, and the friendships and connections made here carry into their professional careers.
