Description:
This scope of work is for the evaluation of three different projects that are primary prevention projects all partly funded by an allocation from Children's Division (CD) in 2005 for prevention. Participating organizations include: Independence School District (IDS), Independence, Missouri, Nurses for Newborns, Family Support Network - Project First, St. Louis, Missouri. Outcomes include whether or not families served in programs targeted by Children’s Division funding are reported for child abuse or neglect and/ or enter foster care. The first report was completed in December 2008 and submitted to state and local agency stakeholders. The second report is in progress as there were delays in receipt of data from agencies.
