In remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Society of Black Student Social Workers at the Brown School will host its second annual financial freedom seminar which is designed to spark dialogue on economic issues affecting low-income communities.  The seminar will be held on February 2 from 8:30 am - 3 pm in Brown Hall Room 100 on Washington University's Danforth Campus.

The NCE is a national, international, and regional collaborative of business centers whose main objective to promote entrepreneurial efficacy and economic growth across the country.

The seminar begins at 8:30 am with a continental breakfast with Dr. House-Soremekun's talk from 9:30 - 10:30. Following her presentation, participants can attend a series of workshops ranging from financial planning to qualifying to buy a home.
